The Generosity Women’s center will be located in close proximity to the water wells. Women will be able to fetch water for their households and then go to the women’s center to receive personal care. This center will be a place for women to connect with other women within their community and will be the central place for the women’s health and hygiene program. The generosity Women’s Center will be managed and operated by women.

Learning how to make reusable pads is economical and sustainable, once a woman learns how to make one, she has gained a lifelong skill. A core group of women are trained and then certified to teach. Each core group member will lead their own group. Simultaneously women will gain in depth knowledge about their menstrual cycle, health and hygiene. Certified training instructors will receive compensation for her work.

Create and distribute Generosity bags ( hygiene kits). Generosity bags will be given after comple- tion of our health and hygiene class. This will reinforce the practice of proper hygiene and sani- tation especially during a woman’s menstruation cycle. Our hygiene and sanitation component is aligned with WASH (water sanitation and hygiene) management.
