Viola Llewellyn is the Co–founder and President of Ovamba Solutions, Inc. Ovamba is an award winning African “Trade tech” company that creates culturally attuned technologies to serve formal and informal African SMEs in the trade & commodities sectors. Ovamba’s solutions combine innovative Sharia compliant structures with eCommerce, logistics services, and technology to drive financial inclusion and promote growth. Mrs. Llewellyn’s past career includes building a $500MM life insurance investment fund for a Washington DC based insurance investment firm, where she led investor communications and asset management divisions. She has held positions with companies such as Unisys Corporation, IBM, KPMG Consulting, Bearing Point, and Rothschild. Viola was listed in the “Digital Undivided Report” as one of the on 34 “Black women in the USA to have raised more than $1 million for a technology as featured in the April issue of Vanity Fair Magazine”. She is listed on Innovative Finance’s 2016, 2017 & 2018 “Women in the Fintech Power List”, and on “Latice80’s Top 100 women in Fintech 2019” list. She is on a number of advisory boards and was recently announced as the newest addition to Generosity Global Inc.’s Board of Directors.

David Barros Sierra Cordera

David is Operational Chief of Division at the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), the largest health-care provider in Mexico. He leads various COVID-19 operational and clinical research feeding decision makers at the highest level at both private (National Business Commissions), as well as public (IMSS c-suite, MoH, and National Health Institutions). Prior to his current work, as part of the founding management team of Dharma Platform, a tech startup working in the intersection between humanitarian work and technology innovation, he led Solutions engineering, Professional Services and Impact-First teams. In this role, David led digital transformation for large-scale emergency responses with organizations like Medecins Sans Frontieres, Cure Violence, Danish Refugee Council, MEDAIR, Resolute Health, and the World Health Organizations (WHO) in the Middle East and Africa. As a clinical practitioner, David deployed as a field doctor for Medicines Sans Frontieres (MSF) in South Sudan and Lebanon, providing critical services to victims of man-made disasters in the region. More recently, he co-founded Signal, providing data science support to organizations working in complex humanitarian emergencies. Previously, he coordinated several international research projects at the Mexican Health Foundation (FUNSALUD) under the Universality and Competitiveness in Health Program, in tandem with the Harvard Global Equity Initiative. He also created the syllabus and coordinated the creation of the online course for the Healthcare Management and Leadership group at the University of California - Berkeley - Mexico Initiative.

Rich has guided Generosity Global from its early days to its current success. He is a sought-after public speaker on topics he is passionate about, such as social entrepreneurship, impact leadership, non-profit development. He has been recognized by Black Enterprise Magazine, the leadership at both state and local levels. A man who leads with passion, vision, and love.

Rich is a social entrepreneur who is committed to using the power of business to do good and improve the quality of life for people across the world. A visionary who believes in using the power of generosity and bringing like-minded people across public and private sectors together to drastically impact the lives of people in need. He is a people before profits guy, committing his leadership wisdom to invest in people. Along with his wife Erika, he founded Generosity Global in 2010.

Erika AkwoCo-Founder / VP - Women Initiatives

Erika, alongside her husband Rich Akwo, has been a key figure in the growth and success of Generosity Global. She has been very instrumental in helping women have a voice in communities that Generosity Global works in. She is an advocate for women equality and for women to live a life of purpose. She directs the organizations mission to empower and equip women with tools for lifelong success.

George Tabi NdipAfrica Region Director

George brings with him years of business and leadership experience. He is a passionate leader combining entrepreneurial drive with business management skills to drive gains in revenue, market share and profitability. George directs and overseas all operations and partnerships for Generosity Global’s water initiatives in Cameroon. He oversees a team of field personnel, project managers, engineers, accountants and other trades that help us carry out successful water projects.

Nina Ayuk NfonkaDirector of Water and Women initiatives - Cameroon

Alongside George, our Africa Region Director, Nina is applying her skills as sustainable development professional and her experience in project management, project monitoring & evaluation, fundraising & livelihood training to manage water projects in conjunction with the Generosity Women’s Center. Being an educator, Nina acquired essential resources that will help her work in close connection with the Generosity Women's center, uplifting and empowering women and young girls and enabling them to have a brighter future.

Juma OduorProgram Coordinator - Water Projects - Kenya

Juma is a great humanitarian & social work enthusiast with a passion for community service. He has previously worked with communities in rural Africa on youth & women's empowerment programs, and joined our team in August of 2022. Juma is a business & technology expert consultant, graduated from Strathmore University with a Bachelor of Commerce in HRM/Personnel Administration, and has 8+ years of experience in project development, management consultancy, and business development strategy.

Sharon AmbeProgram Coordinator - Generosity Women - Cameroon

Sharon is resilient and proactive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Her great passion for education, protection, women’s rights & children safety will enable her to promote healthier living, limit chronic diseases, and make better health accessible to people in need, especially vulnerable children. With 7+ years of experience working in multiple hospitals as Nutrition Ambassador, Sharon has impacted 50,000+ nursing mothers, educating them on the importance of breastfeeding, infant nutrition & hygiene.

Lucy Shimula Abung'AnaAssistant Program Coordinator - Generosity Women - Kenya

Lucy is a passionate educator who loves working with her community. Through Generosity Global, she sees herself fulfilling her dreams by interacting with women and young girls at the center, where she can effect change. Coupled with her strong leadership and communication skills, Lucy is confident that she can continue to create impact and change in her community, and in Generosity Global she hopes to gain valuable skills that will allow her to touch more and more lives.
