Fundraising Intern

Generosity Global Inc. is seeking a Fundraising Intern to join our growing team. The following job position is non-paid and open to those who can receive college credit for the Spring 2022 semester.

We are on a mission to give access to clean water, provide women’s health services in Africa, and offer mobile showers and food to the homeless in America. DUTIES

  • Assisting the Major Gifts team by conducting prospecting research of current/potential donors, foundations, and corporations
  • Assisting with special events planning, management, and execution
  • Assisting with fundraising events (i.e. Mission Ball)
  • Responding to donor emails and phone calls
  • Calling donors on behalf of the organization to keep donors engaged in GG’s mission
  • Providing donor database management support (create, edit, and manage funder profiles)
  • Assisting individual fundraisers and their campaigns\
  • Soliciting sponsorships for special events
  • Providing writing and editing support on development communications materials
  • Supporting fundraising administrative tasks
  • Creating and executing short-term and long-term strategies for fundraising
  • Work to build long term strategies for donor growth and retention
  • Assisting with organizing special campaigns for specific programs
  • Assisting in researching potential donors and researching new fund-raising markets
  • Sending fundraising invitations/proposals to clientele via email marketing and text messaging
  • Assisting current donors and members with information
  • Maintaining donor database records Assisting in donor outreach and engagement\
  • Assisting in the facilitation of donor stewardship
  • Collaborating in creating materials needed for donor solicitation, including letters, electronic presentations, and informational packets
  • Assisting with other tasks and projects as assigned

Internship Credit:

Academic credit is available for internships.  Students must talk with their academic advisor to see if internship credit is available through their academic department for this internship.  If credit is not available through the student’s home department, internship credit may be available through other departments.  Students must satisfy the specific internship requirements of the supporting academic department to earn credit, which typically involves 80-240 hours of work, in addition to an Activities Log and a Letter of Evaluation from the on-site supervisor.  Students are responsible for covering the tuition-related implications of accepting the internship.  Generosity Global Inc. cannot pay for course credits
